About Pam Aini

With a variety legal experience since 1985, I am currently working with attorney's and District Attorney's across NY on a variety of projects including research, drafting pleadings, developing and delivering training segments along with consulting on a number of topics relating to general office practices. I develop and conduct trainings on a number of topics to members of the legal community. In addition, my work has included consulting and training with NYPTI (New York Prosecutor's Training Institute), and Grant Administrator, Project Director and Administrator for STOP-DWI New York which includes writing and managing grants while also serving as a resource for STOP-DWI Coordinators from 57 New York State Counties. I also serve as an instructor for the Alfred State Police Academy.

I was previously employed for 24 years as a Paralegal with the Steuben County District Attorney. During my tenure at the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office, I was instrumental in developing and implementing several systems within the office along with daily Paralegal responsibilities including confidential interviews with witnesses and victims, research and writing, pleading drafting, grant administration and communication and scheduling with many professional agencies and organizations.

During that time, I also served as a guest lecturer at the New York Prosecutors Training Institute’s Summer College in Syracuse, New York. This led to development and conducting statewide training to District Attorney staff in record keeping computer software with a focus on legal issues and implications necessary for information tracking.

I am certified as a general topic’s instructor through the Division of Criminal Justice Services and have attended numerous continuing education seminars and classes. I have also served as a guest lecturer on the topic of Autism for the Division of Criminal Justice Services First Responder Disability Awareness Training and as an instructor for the New York State Impaired Driver Program.

Continuing education has always been a professional priority for me, and the skills developed as a result are the root of my success. I enjoy learning and sharing my knowledge with others through consulting, development of training and delivery of instruction at a variety of levels including classroom, small group or individual training.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and our dogs and reading.
